We're Ready...

...to move. This neighborhood is so boring-There are no kids for Meghan and James to play with. I'm ready for a larger house in a better neighborhood. What say you?

This was hilarious!

This was a good one! Please note that I have changed my name on blog's posts to "Kristen Mueller." Love you!

Here's a Cute One!

Nick took this picture while he and James were out fishing. This is the first fish that he caught. I lthink he's adorable!

Here is something to consider when I'm in a bad mood...

This house is for sale on the corner lot on the street parallel to mine. It's listed for a whopping $212,500. That's a bargain, however, compared to...
this one (five houses down). This is listed at the extravagant price of $214,700. I'm going to have to live here forever!!

The cookout was fun!

Good old Grandma, both you and Gram Bean!
Everyone wants to be a princess. I'll return your tiara this week!
I'm not sure why Dad was modeling his Montreal Steak Seasoning.
Elijah and his new braces.
I can't believe that he still puts his Lea & Perrins in a separate bowl.
What a nice family! Hannah is adorable!

Cool Storm

While you didn't get any rain, thunder, or lightning in Overland Park, we were 'hammered' in the Northland. Check out the cool clouds! There are tree limbs down all over, particularly north of Hwy 9. We were lucky, with only minor screen damage from the hail.

What a fun day!

Today was my second favorite day of the year. I took Nick, James, and Meghan shopping for new school clothes and supplies. I love the tax free day!

We started at Target and our total was only $50.44. I bought everything on the supply lists; however, I REFUSE to buy the hand sanitizer, Kleenex, and Clorox Wipes. I know that the school provides those things, and I don't think that I need to spend my own money on it.

We then went to JC Penney and Nicholas actually found some shirts that he likes. I banned him from cutting the sleeves off of them (his new favorite thing to do). We also went to Kohl's and James got some Nike and Mizzou football shirts (big surprise!). I bought Meghan an Angry Birds t-shirt...Don't be mad at me!!

We ended with lunch at Chili's (They still have that chicken enchillad soup. YUM!!).

The first week of football practice/try outs ends today. The boys got their helmets last night...James thinks the helmet is VERY cool.

Looking forward to our cookout tomorrow! Just wait until Dad and Ryan have the buffalo chicken dip!!!

Fourth Grade Memories

This is one of my very favorites. In the front row, we have Sun-Ah, Brad Hagen, and Santina. In the second row, we have Logan. Nicholas and Dylan Britt are in the third row. Ryan Lindsay and Bryan Davis are in the back row. I love the fact that this group of kids are still the best of friends!!

I wish the same thing for Meghan and James.
