We had a busy week last week and it continues this week! James had another baseball game last Thursday night and he actually got to pitch. They were already losing 11-0 in the second inning, so it was his turn. He was VERY nervous--He told me that he doesn't like people starring at him. His results weren't that spectacular...three walks, a triple, a single, and a strike out. After the inning, he was actually teary-eyed in the dugout...Poor fella! He must not have done too badly, though, because he was practicing with the pitching coach at practice last night.
Meghan has golf Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week (weather permitting) and I think that she really enjoys it. She was wearing her visor over the weekend when she was playing with Olivia.
Tonight I get my hair cut and highlighted (FINALLY!!) and James has a ball game. I hope that I can get there in time to watch. I think it's really fun to go and I enjoy sitting with the other moms, especially Lori, Lynne, and Dannette.
Julie M. is coming down from Iowa tomorrow. She's working downtown and I'm going to meet her for dinner.
Thursday is also a fun/busy day. James has a game and we have a retirement dinner for Richard, the counselor at Gracemor who is retiring. I'm moving into his office this week. My principal expected him to be out by Monday, but that didn't happen. Now all of my office things are stacked in the social worker's office. The new counselor at my school is named Maria. I don't know here--She's one of the counselors at NKC High School and she works part time. Wouldn't that be nice!!??!!
This weekend is Memorial Day--Yeah! I love three day weekends. I believe that Ron is going to the lake Friday evening. The 'gang' is going to eat at Bentley's (a steak house in town) and I know he won't want to miss that. I actually don't mind that he's going and I'm not. I plan to just relax, shop, and play with the kiddies. The water park opens Saturday, so maybe I'll take them there.
Nick starts working this weekend too. I wonder if it will interefere with his time with Aynsley......
